NRL ROUND 12 | Raiders Vs Dolphins

*Note* All bets are degenerate bets this week Punters, so we’re doing things a bit differently. With most of the team lineups being shaken up by origin selection, most of the positional data goes out the window. Reasoning for all of the above can be found below, but be warned, anything can happen with everyone’s best players out, so get stuck in at your own risk you dirty little cunt:

Seb Kris

The Raiders right centre has been quietly plugging them in for the last 4 straight games, making him their CTW with the highest try frequency (5 games). The Dolphins have typically given up a try to the most prolific CTW on every team they have faced, and in this case, it’s Seabass.

Herbie Farnworth

Fun fact: Either Dolphins centre has scored every single week so far. Not to shit on Jack Bostock’s chances (anything can happen in Bye rounds after all), but the Raiders have given up a grand total of two tries to right centres, and six to the left – My money is on Erbie Farnworf to mug the Raiders off yeah? U fuckin wot m8?

Brad Schneider

The Raiders have been getting gronked by opposition halves since well before Ethan Strange was out. The Fins have done fuck all scoring through the halves, but the 11 tries the Raiders have given up to them so far are good enough for me to get on one of the Dolphins’ middle management to cross the stripe. I’m only going with B-52 Brad here because Izzy hasn’t scored yet this year, but he does have the best chance he’s ever gonna get this week, so just go to the one you love most, punters.

Kaeo Weekes/Savelio Tamale

The Dolphins have been shit on by fullbacks and left wingers more than any other position this season. They have also been scored on first by either in three of their last six games.

Trai Fuller/Jamayne Isaako

Either The Hammer or Jamayne Isaako have scored for the last six straight weeks, and Trai Fuller is not exactly a downgrade at Fullback.

Jeremy Marshall-King

Ol’ Jeremy is such a serial try-scoring pest, that he scored immediately upon return from injury two weeks ago. The Raiders were scored on by Phoenix Crossland, so you don’t gotta be a genius to line up those facts.

Tevita Naufahu

Selwyn Cobbo has scored either the first or last try for the last two weeks in a row. You have to assume that anything Selwyn can do, Tevita can probably do better. Or a casually trained golden retreiver. Or even several Ibis’ taped together with no prior rugby league experience.
