These two knuckleheads are only paired together for the FTS part of this pick, because the Dragons have been annihilated by both opposition wingers for the past 4 straight games. Special consideration goes to Karapani, since the Dragons have been scored on by every single left winger they have faced since round 3.
Damien Cook
If I was Damo, I’d still be fuckin fuming at the NRL for erasing one of the best individual tries the game has seen this decade. What better way to get even than by putting the gronk on the NRLs darlings, who have been scored on by opposition hookers in three of the last five games. Let the hate flow through you Damien.
Adam Reynolds/Ezra Mam
Pretty much any half who regularly scores will do so against the Dragons. They have given up a double in the last four games to both Te Maire Martin and Sam Walker, the latter lining up on the left side for the Roosters where Ezra Mam will be. Reynolds bagged a double against the Wahs last round, so the Broncos middle management are definitely in a scoring mood. If you’re brave enough, you could probably even get away with both of them, but for First or Last try, I’d lean towards Mam since the Dragons have already given it up three times to cunts in his position.
Xavier Willison
To be fair, either Broncos edge runner has a fairly good shot at the chocolates here, but the Dragons have given up three tries to the left side in their last four games. Just go with either. Fuck even Talty off the bench, who gives a rats ass, you’ve seen St George yeah?
Kyle Flannagan FTS
Yeah I know cunt, I can’t actually fuckin believe I’m writing this either, but here we are. The Broncos have eaten shit from halfbacks for the last 4 consecutive games, including eating the first shit from them twice (Technically DCE isn’t a Halfback, but he plays on the right, stupid). I fully don’t think this is going to happen, but the data is there, and it can’t lie so…
Reece Walsh FTS
Rugby League’s new Bad Boy Kalyn Ponga is playing a lot like a guy who isn’t one act of Blues retribution away from bringing the Newcastle Knights their water with a thousand yard stare for the rest of his career. So that means a certain someone is probably going to be trying extra especially hard to be the goodest boy today for Billy Slater. The Dragons have had seven tries put through them by all the usual suspects around the back, this one isn’t fuckin rocket surgery mate.
Setu Tu/Val Holmes FTS or LTS
The Broncos have been toweled by right centres for 9 tries, which is actually oddly fucking specific, considering they haven’t conceded more than 4 to any other CTW position. They have only been scored on three times by right wingers, but two of those came in their last game. This lines up pretty nicely since Holmes doesn’t score as much as Setu Tu does, but the 12 total conceded to right side CTWs tells me that one of these cunts is definitely eating.
