DWZ – AKP
Full disclosure, the Warriors picks in this one are going to look pretty much identical to the last time they faced off. This is simply because the Dragons are just. So. Specifically. Shit against these exact positions. They have conceded 33 tries to opposition wingers as well as 10 instances of them giving up at least a double to one of them. When they played earlier in the season, I had AKP for first Wahs try and DWZ for last, with each of them to bag 2, and I did not regret that. Got some new sunnies out of it. Anyway, choose your own adventure Punters, the Wahs wingmen have been responsible for scoring the same amount of tries that the Dargs have given up, so one, if not both of them are about to feast again.
Setu Tu
It makes me really sad to see Setu Tu stuck at the Dragons. It would be so shit to be an absolute weapon and have to rely on cunts like Kyle Flanagan to deliver you the ball. Nevertheless, Tu has still managed to be St George’s most consistent try scorer for the whole season so far. The longest he has ever gone without scoring a try this year is just two games back in round 2-3. It’s worth mentioning that the Wahs have given up a double to an opposition right winger three times in their last 5 games. He also knocked in the first try against the Warriors last time they met. Could be Tu x 2 time…
Te Maire Martin
Yeah look, he got two last time, little scamp. But again, the Dragons are still shithouse against opposition halves.
Tyrell Sloan/Val Holmes
These cunts have finally started to get a pretty impressive streak going, scoring 14 combined tries in their last 7 games including one of them pinching the first Dragons try for the last 5 fucking straight rounds. While DWZ is back this week, and is pretty fucking solid defensively, Ali Leiataua most certainly is not. The Dragons get a chance to try and square things up now that they have tasted victory since the last time they faced the Wahs. Personally I still reckon they will get shit on regardless, but I reckon there will be a bit more fire from St George in this one.
