NRL ROUND 6 | Broncos Vs Cowboys

  • Broncos have been scored on by a Right side CTW or 2RF in every game so far
  • The Broncos have still conceded a minimum of two tries in every single game going back to 2023
  • A Broncos Right side CTW has scored every game so far
  • Broncos FLB has scored in 3 of 5 games
  • Cowboys have given up 6 tries in five games to Right side CTW
  • Cowboys Left side CTW has scored in every single game so far
  • Jake Clifford has scored for the last three games in a row
  • Cowboys have scored the first try for the last three games in a row

Analysis:

This might sound controversial but I like the Cows to tear the Broncos to shreds here. The Broncos stubborn insistence to allow two tries to every team they face will very likely get them into deep shit when going up against a team that has scored a minimum of three every game this year, and that’s before we factor in their lineup having more holes than Reece Walsh’s brain this week.

*UPDATE* There’s been a reshuffle in the Cowboys outside backs with Burns dropping out, replaced by Taulagi and Laybutt moves to Left Wing. This doesn’t make me any more confident about the Broncos winning, but it makes me feel a lot better about them scoring.

Broncos Try Scorers: Kotoni Staggs/Deine Mariner, Josiah Karapani/Gehamat Shibasaki

Cowboys Try Scorers: Scott Drinkwater, Tom Chester/Murray Taulagi, Heilum Luki

Degen Bets: Jesse Arthars, Jake Clifford, Drinkwater/Chester FTS
